Los Santos Was Left Behind.

When civilization pulled back to Paleto Bay, the city to the south was sealed off and forgotten. The towers still stand and the streets still run, but nobody governs it, nobody patrols it, and nobody is coming if things go wrong. Welcome to the LSEZ.

Emergency Alert GPS Detected you entering the EXCLUSION ZONE. Public Services are suspended to this area.

The line

You'll know when you've crossed it.

A few seconds past the line, you'll know you're no longer safe. The smoke hanging over the towers. The empty lanes where traffic used to run. The quiet where sirens used to answer.

The Exclusionary Zone doesn't care who you were up north.

Inside the zone

What changes past the border.

No initiation required

Nobody owes you a warning. Ambushes are allowed, and verbal initiation is not required before violence.

Kill on sight

Shooting on sight and vehicle combat are allowed, with no fear-roleplay requirement. Crossing the border is consent to the risk.

Heavy weapons

Sniper rifles and explosives are fair game inside the zone.

No law, no badge

No murder or kidnapping law is enforced in the zone, and public servants have no official authority past the border. What's in it belongs to whoever can hold it.

Cash is king

Money found in the ruin is untaxed and untraceable, and the black market trades in dirty cash. Getting it home is your problem.

LS Customs

An oasis in the hellscape. Inside LS Customs the county's roleplay rules are back in force: garage and repair your car, restock on essentials, and catch your breath before heading back out.

Lawless in character only. Rules marked "LSEZ: suspended" on the rules page are off inside the zone; everything else still applies, and staff can step in anywhere. Read the rules

What's out there

Why anyone goes south.

01

Scavenging

Burned-out wrecks choke the streets of Los Santos. Search engine bays, trunks, and interiors for parts, supplies, and cash. Each wreck gives a little, and there are a lot of them.

02

Rebel strongholds

Armed rebels hold camps and dungeons across the ruin. Clear the guards, crack the containers, and get out before the site restocks and the guards come back.

03

The black market

Fences and a back-alley doctor deal only in dirty money. The market moves every cycle, so the first job is finding it.

In development

Coming to the zone.

Zone deaths

Die in the LSEZ and you skip the long respawn wait. After a short delay you wake up somewhere in the county, hurt, hungry, and carrying only what your attackers didn't take.

Bounty hunting

With no law in the zone, anyone can take a bounty, including off-duty officers. Bring them back to the county to collect.

National Guard deployments

When a major event breaks out in the zone, any citizen can opt in to deploy. Your real belongings are kept safe while you fight in an issued kit, and you come home to a hospital bed in Paleto when it's over.

Paleto is home. Los Santos is a raid.

Build your life in the county, cross the border when you're ready, and carry the risk home with you. Or never go south at all. The choice is yours.
